... the time will never be just right. The only time is now.
In today's fast-paced world where responsibilities and life demands are always around the clock, we might find challenging to hit the pause button and give ourselves the time and space to recharge. Yoga is a path that leads us to falling in love with taking care of ourselves. Body, mind, and spirit. However, many are deterred to take up yoga because of inaccurate preconceived notions of it. Yoga is not about folding into contortions that seem to be achievable only for a certain group of people with super flexibility and plenty of time to practice.
When it comes to yoga, it shouldn't be another demand we put onto ourselves. As the Bhagavad Gita beautifully encapsulates, "Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself." Our practice should cultivate inquiry, sensitivity, and kindness to ourselves. It should support our lives. It doesn't matter if your practice is only 5 minutes a day. Even if you feel the benefits of practicing for a millisecond, it can forever change your perception of taking care of yourself. So, gently tap into your inner willpower, switch on the light bulb, and give yourself the permission to start your practice without judgement or harshness. I'll be happy if I can be of any help to get you started.
Come One, Come All
